ChicagoFIRST Welcomes a new Staff Member – Yasmin Varallo
Yasmin most recently served as an Aviation Surveillance Specialist with the Chicago Department of Aviation during which she conducted continuous observation and surveillance of over 3,500 transit, TSA, airfield, and landside cameras collaborating with the O’Hare Communication Center, Aviation Security, and the Chicago Police Department. Prior to her role with Aviation, Yasmin served 21 years with the Chicago Police Department, retiring as a Police Officer assigned as a Detective. Yasmin’s final 12 years with the police department included her role as a lead open-source intelligence analyst within CPD’s fusion center – Crime Prevention and Information Center (CPIC).
